PREAMBLE
The CPM Community Health and Social Development training is a two-week intensive programme designed to equip participants with practical knowledge, skills, and approaches for improving community health outcomes and promoting sustainable social development. The training explores the relationship between health, social conditions, poverty, inequality, community participation, and access to essential services.
Participants will gain practical skills in community health assessment, health promotion, disease prevention, community mobilization, social inclusion, behaviour change communication, and the design and management of community-based health and social development programmes. Emphasis will be placed on participatory approaches, local ownership, partnerships, and sustainable interventions that respond to the needs and priorities of communities.
