PREAMBLE

This CPM two-week practical training course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and tools required to effectively monitor and evaluate community development projects. The course introduces the principles, concepts, processes, and methods of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), with particular emphasis on their application throughout the project cycle.

Participants will learn how to develop results frameworks and theories of change, formulate appropriate indicators, establish baselines and targets, design data collection systems, collect and analyse quantitative and qualitative data, assess project performance, and prepare M&E reports. The course also addresses participatory M&E approaches that promote community involvement, accountability, learning, and sustainability.
