Preamble

COURSE DESCRIPTION
This intensive CPM two-week training equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to design, implement, monitor, and coordinate Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) interventions in humanitarian emergencies. The course focuses on applying international standards (Sphere, WHO, UNICEF), emergency response modalities, and context-appropriate technologies across different emergency phases, including preparedness, response, and early recovery.
Through case studies, simulations, and hands-on exercises, participants will gain experience in rapid needs assessment, emergency water supply, sanitation solutions, hygiene promotion, WASH coordination, and accountability to affected populations.
